HIPAA in the Cloud

Summary:  This article’s goal is to help both providers and consumers of cloud services comply with the security and privacy requirements of U.S. healthcare law. It starts by giving you a basic understanding of the relevant laws, then discusses their implications with respect to cloud services, covering the issues of data control, access, integrity, and availability; shared multitenant environments; incident preparedness and response; and data security.
